"How to Choose a Great Editor?"

I’ve finished the first draft of my book and need help choosing the right editor. I’ve heard that editing can make or break a book, and I want to ensure my manuscript shines.

Should I look for a developmental editor or a copyeditor first? Also, has anyone worked with Barter. Books Publishers for top Book Editing services? Their comprehensive offerings sound great, but I’d love to hear about actual experiences before making a decision.
